Applications: • Time & Attendance Recording: e-prox is the most convenient and simple device to register employees attendance and to access restricted areas for the authorized employees.

It can be installed at the main entrance or at department entrances. It reads the ID Cards on show within a range of 10cms and is independent of card orientation. For every valid entry the name of the employee / employee code will be displayed on the Reader along with an audible beep as a confirmation of transaction being recorded.

This software developed in Visual Basic with the choice of using MS access, SQL or Oracle as backend RDBMS satisfies the challenges requirements of any organization. All reports as per statutory norms can be generated, eliminating the time & money spent on maintaining manual registers.

• Access Control:
e-prox readers can control external devices like Electro-magnetic latches. Door strikes, Half Height Turnstiles etc. These devices act as barriers and only when a valid card is ready by e-prox. It releases the barrier for the person to enter or exit. Every transaction is recorded and can be processed to check the time of the entry & exit of employees or visitors etc.

PC Connectivity
RS 232 connectivity: A single Reader within a distance of 30 meters can be directly connected to the RS 232 serial port of the PC.
RS 485 connectivity: Multiple Readers can be connected using a Signal Converter which converts and amplifies signal for communicating with a maximum of 256 Readers in a multi-drop connectivity over a distance of up-to 1200 meters.
TCP / IP connectivity: Readers installed at multiple locations can communicate with the PC using a TCP / IP converter.
